It’s really not the year for comics creators, I just read some more sad news….
Herb Trimpe, famous for his work with Marvel comics, the first artist to draw Wolverine for publication (he is often mis-credited as co-creator of Wolverine) and worked on everything from Amazing Spiderman to X-Men and of course, Transformers (#11-12, 20 / 1985-1986) has passed away on Monday at the age of 75 (no details have been found at this time). He consistently worked in comics from 1967 onward. His Brother Mike Trimpe (also deceased) worked in comics and his son Alex Trimpe also works in comics. I wish to express my condolences to his family and loved ones.
